DESKSPACE MEASURING GUIDE
Will the desk fit through the door?
The room footprint and the delivery route are different checks.

Find the packaged dimensions
The assembled width and depth are not necessarily the dimensions of the delivery box. Look for package measurements and the number of boxes. A top may arrive as a single rigid piece even if the frame needs assembly. If the retailer does not publish the information, ask before placing an order.
Measure the narrowest route
Follow the route from the delivery location to the room. Measure door openings with the door in its realistic open position. Note stairs, landings, handrails and tight corners. A straight doorway measurement cannot prove that a large rigid box can make a turn. Do not rely on a single diagonal calculation to guarantee a complex move.
Decide where assembly can happen
Consider whether the pieces can be carried in separately and assembled inside the room. Check the assembly instructions for the floor space and tools required. Avoid assuming you can assemble a desk elsewhere and carry it in afterward. The finished frame may be harder to move than the boxed parts.
Read delivery and return details
Check whether delivery is to a doorstep, a lobby or the room itself. Review the retailer’s current return process and any costs before buying. Keep the packaging until you have inspected the parts and verified the fit. DeskSpace does not sell or deliver desks, so the retailer is the contact for orders, damage and returns.
