About DeskSpace

DeskSpace is an independent website for measuring a room before choosing a desk. Its calculator subtracts your chosen side gaps and chair allowance from a rectangular space. The guides use original planning examples. They do not replace measuring your room and checking a retailer's current specifications.

How product matches work

When an authorized product catalog is connected, the site compares desktop width and depth with your planning envelope. Results are sorted by fitting surface area. This is a size filter, not a quality ranking or a claim that we have tested a product. No products have been tested by DeskSpace.

Affiliate disclosure

Product links may earn us a commission on qualifying purchases when an affiliate relationship is active. Any commission-bearing product list carries a disclosure above the links. Retailers handle checkout, delivery and returns. We do not claim a commercial partnership until it has been established.

Privacy

The calculator processes the room dimensions in your browser. This site does not save those measurements on its server. A saved plan link includes the measurements in a URL fragment; anyone you share the link with can read them. The embed option loads this calculator on another site and generates requests to the hosting provider. It has no visitor signup form, advertising scripts, analytics scripts or marketing cookies. Cloudflare hosts the site and may process network request information to operate and protect the service. View Cloudflare's privacy policy. Product links take you to a third-party retailer or affiliate network whose own privacy practices apply.

Automation

An automated service checks the public site and, when configured with an approved feed, refreshes product listings. It does not generate visitor traffic, click ads or place orders. Old catalog data expires instead of being presented as newly verified. The status page shows the last completed check without exposing private account details.

Limitations

A rectangular fit is only the first check. The tool does not assess structural loads, health, electrical requirements, accessible routes or building rules. Verify the complete dimensions, assembly route, chair movement and intended use before ordering.
